The weak one which we helped hatch died yesterday. It was getting weaker and I think it was inevitable. Poor little thing. My daughter was very upset as she'd been looking after it. The white pekins are becoming more coloured. I will take more photo's later as we're heading out to the vegie patch to get some work done before it gets too hot.

The baby pekins are becoming more coloured. Its so exciting seeing them develop the different colours. Here is the blue one which looks like it might be cuckoo after all. White, greyish colours coming through. White, brownish colours coming through.

Hi Shea, well those last 2 have got me stumped! Ive got no idea how come they are those colours, but its possible the whites have thrown colours in from somewhere in their background. I have just hatched my first eggs of the whites and I cant wait to see if they look like these ones! You must post some more pics in a couple of weeks Sorry to hear about the last chicky

I am excited about the colours coming through. Its like christmas not knowing what your going to get. ;D Hope some of your whites are like these Wendy. Will post more pics in a couple of weeks. Thanks everyone about the sick baby. It makes you wonder about intervening. Maybe it was never meant to make it out as it was never going to survive to adulthood.

Hi Shea, the white Pekin chicks are certainly looking to be intersting in colour! My 5 white ones havent got any of the dark coming through on their wings like yours. I cant wait to see how yours turn out.

I'll try and take some more photo's tomorrow. Going to be a busy day. It's amazing how they're growing. One is quite brown, almost a cuckoo brown but from looking at your website you don't have any that colour.
