they do look beautiful and I love the house, too! I've seen one like this on ebay, are you happy with it regarding cleaning and such?

I got the coop for a really good price otherwise I wouldn't have bought it, $80 and $70 delivery, I see now you can pick them up from Midland. It is smaller than I expected, obviously didn't read the dimensions too well. We are going to make another permanent pen for them cause they won't last much long in it. We move it every 2nd days onto a grassy area. It's amazing how quickly they mow down anything green. I have 3 babies from my 2nd hatch left (sold 4 yesterday) so they will go into it once they are old enough. We oiled it before we put them into it. So far it is working well.

thanks, Shea, that confirms my thoughts. $150 is exactly what I was willing to pay, and I only need a home for 3 hens, so that should be fine with some additional free ranging and maybe another little run. If I get it for that price it will save me hours of building, and that would probably be worth it - and it will most certainly look nicer

Where abouts in Midland can you get those coops?! I'm in desperate need of a small one for some babies I have now, and I am really bad at building things Do they charge $150? or are they $80 if you pick them up? Sorry for all the questions!

what cute chicks. I have a batch of silkie x just out of the incubator and one of them has splay legs. Can anyone tell me why this happens and if I can save the little guy now.
