LOL!! Very good Beck very good. Yes I might just have an opening for an assistant, the only catch is you have to supply your own gel and plan your escape route to hawaii yourself.

Hi Peoples....Just a quick shout to anyone that is going to the Harvey Show. I will definately be there at least on the Sunday having a nose around the chooks and maybe on the Saturday too. If any one else is going and would like to catch up I stand out as I am very tall 6 foot I will have my Mum in tow who is much shorter and grey haired my mobile number is 0411665577. (not sure if it will work in Harvey though.) Hope to catch up with some of you if you can make it.
Cheers Carolyn

Hi All, The Harvey Show was pretty good. A lot bigger than I expected and we made a day of it with some of the family. Got to catch up with Judy and lazyem....No Mike that I could see although 1 guy that I saw looked to fit the bill....to scared to ask though, just in case wasn't him... Other than poultry there were lots of equestrian events... I really loved the clydesdales, and all sorts of other animals competing for the coveted prizes in their classes such as cows, sheeps, goats, The was also a reptile display where I had a hold of a rather large python, a birds of prey sanctuary display with a young male eagle and various other owls, hawks, kestrals etc and the petting zoo was fantastic. they had a variety of poultry, rabbits, lambs, goats, pigeons and doves. As to the Poultry show , Tina and Steph will be pleased to know that the birds that won had no middle toe feathering and I recon Fluffy would definately have given them a run for their money. There was no Faverolles and I recon my Pekins would have had a good chance so I feel a little more confident to give it a go now. And yes Weny I did come home with a bit of a collection....Just wish I had more cages with me...I bought 3 beautiful Araucanas - 1 Lavender, 1 Black and 1 that it sort of Porcelain looking. I also picked up 3 Bantam Wyandottes - 2 Buff Columbian and 1 white columbian and 2 Gold Laced and 1 Silver Laced Standard sized Wyandotte chicks. Plus I lucked into some 9 week old Belgian Bardu D'uccles which are 8 black and 1 quail. So all in all a very fruitful and fun weekend. I will post some pics in new arivals once they have been uploaded in photo bucket
Oh and a big congrats to Judy and Emma for their wins at the show. That Big Boppa is awsome and I liked Em's liitle Game bird very classy.

Gorgeous birds Judy, I love your boy Big Bopper, very handsome. Its good to know that silkies won without middle toe feathering as I did wonder about that. Maybe me and mum will think about putting some birds in and see how they do. I know she was already considering the show and auction at Mundijong so maybe we will see some of you there.
