Love the dustbathing action shot They look really happy. The more I see of yours and fluffy's silkies, the more Im thinking, I might have to get some of those I bet the kids would adore them. I need a bigger place for sure!!

Great action shot in the bath, they certainly look very content. You can always tell a hand raised chook, they like a pat....lol Wendy the children luuuuuv them, my granddaughter can't get enough and every child that comes over falls in love with them. There is a saying and I think it is appropriate "resistance is futile" .....lol

lol. Fluffys right, kids absolutely love the silkies. My son is a little young yet to really enjoy the chooks but having said that, he's perfectly content if I park the pram in front of the silkie pen so he can watch them. But if I park the pram in front of the 'laying hen' pen he's not so impressed and refuses to sit there nicely for more than a minute lol.

Well fluffy, I agree with that saying totally I might have to do a trip to buy some off you next year when you have some for sale Steph, thats so cute about your boy! Hes got a preference already. I'll bet he loves to give them a pat too. Theyre so fluffy and cuddly for chooks, thats why kids love them.
