An unexpected hot one for us here in Busso. It got to about 33 I think. How hot was it where you are?

Yes it was a warm one yesterday, I was struggling to keep the bator temp stable. It was 40 out here.

Ouch Steph, I thought it might have been something horrific like that. I turned the bator right down, even though they say not to "fiddle", I have 9 eggs in the incubator and they are due on Wednesday. You hardly need the bator on when its that hot Steph!!

It was a real scorcher here. My bator is inside and we had the air con on so it coped fine. Thankfully it is cooler already today

We spent the day driving, luckily in air cond, but when we got to where we were going, then spent the next 2 hours wandering through chook yards, it was mighty hot, but wouldn't have missed seeing them all for anything.

Yay! its overcast today. Im pleased about that because the lady is leaving my eggs on the table near her front door and I havent gone yet! I was worried theyd be too hot sitting there waiting for me to come and get them Horses, it sounds like a nice way to spend Sunday, looking at chooks
