I have just gone in a sweep at the local stock feeds, so hopefully I will win something to pay of my chook feed account. Thats my excitement for the day. is anyone else doing anything.

Well we found our dream farm on Sunday - despite the fact that hubby was "definitely not looking" until after Christmas. So we are madly tidying up our place this week to get the real estate agent in for an appraisal, so my Melbourne Cup day is going to be spent sugar soaping walls to get them ready to paint (think 3 kids, 7 years, dirty walls!).
I am about to go and put a bet on though, and will stop for the race.

Nah, not into horse racing and betting. It's a free day on Tuesday for me, no children, no grandchildren until school finishes. So its just me and the chooks and the ducks and the dog and the fish and the housework....yuk to that. I think I might just go sweep out the coup and have a chat, very relaxing. Ummmm, not blowing raspberries....lol

The weathers pretty rubbish out here today, not much good for having a baby outside so me n the bub have set up camp in the lounge room in front of the telly with lots of toys and mummys laptop lol. Havent put any bets on the cup but will watch the race and think I'll cheer on Nom De Jour (spelling?). It'll probably come last lol
