you guys got that right it is soo relaxing but is something only us chook people understand yesterday i heard screaming outside and went to investigate and th neighbours girl was being followed by a chook ( not mine ) she looked about 10 and was terrified they sent there son out to RESCUE her i don't know who was more shocked by the screams the chook or everyone else

Lol beck, classic. Im glad my lil boy will grow up in the country around lots of animals. I can just see him now in couple of years time, thinking he's lil mr chook expert explaining to all our visitors what breed each pen is and probably carrying a handraised roostie around under his arm lol

Fancy being scared of a chook. I can understand if it was a feral rooster, they can be very nasty. We had one that had my grandson very scared and it made my granddaughter cry when it had a go at her legs. He was a cross and was showing very nasty tendancies. So he had to go. I like peace in the house, not that I get it with grandchildren...lol

well my family all think I am a bit nutty over my chooks, but now the kids definitely think I need help, I got caught last night when I was carrying Mrs Spanish to her night pen blowing raspberrys on her neck. Well she likes it.
