Hi, I have been interested in ducks for a while and have thought I should start educating myself more on them as I would now like to become an owner. I have a few acres and have 2 free roaming peacocks. I would like to get some laying ducks(khaki campbell or indian runners). We are in Perth most days so travel is not an issue if anyone has any to sell. Anyway we are originally from Canning Vale and decided to move here for lifestyle but hubby still drives to Perth for work. We are building a lake next year so I am sure the ducks will be pleased with that. Are chooks and ducks similar as in what they eat and how you take care of them etc: Take care

Welcome fancy, great to have you here. I feed my ducks and chooks a poultry mix. I find that the only difference is that ducks like access to more water. I have a small childs wading pool which they love.

Hi everyone, Thanks for your lovely welcome. I will definately post pics when I have my little duckies. I am going to look at others pics on here too. Off to do some more research on ducks. I want to make sure they are well cared for but not spoilt.
