Hi all anyone know how to deal with them I have eaten a few but its like chewing on cardboard %^&***( Yuck I know that the indigenous guys used to eat them as part of there diet, and there doing trials on skin complaints and that there good for arthritis, so I am told/ we live and learn any help Trev

HI jacquie Thanks for that it is interesting I do not like cardboard and the other thing is it leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth like a sour metallic taste Yuck not nice at all I have read that there good mashed up and put on the skin for stuff not tried it yet it will depend on how daft I am feeling on the day have a good one Trev

I as a kid we would collect both sandalwood nuts and quandong nuts take them to the camp fire and roast them, makes my mouth water just thinking about eating them. The Quandong fruit (red on out side ) makes great jams,( we think to strong so add some apples to the cooking) And I thought I could not think back that far Ray
