oops sorry benda forgot to say about the humidity before hatching,
mind you i don't stress about it too much, i mean, mother hen doesn't suddenly get more damp under her when the eggs are ready to hatch after all!!

good point jacquie....i started the incubator of with way to much humidity. humidity averages around 70 atm..im hoping this wont harm them but its 2 late now to take eggs out and dry water channel...i filled the outside water channel when i think i waz suposed to fill the inner smaller water channel, so im waiting for the channel to dry out and ill fill the smaller 1 next time. im assuming it will only take a few days to dry out as i only put a coffe cups worth of water in.

i think they should still grow alright, 70% is a little high for the beginning but you live and learn, the eggs won't lose water as fast with the humidity at that level.
