Hi guys i have a question i have a partridge wyandotte that finished molt ages ago and look lovely again she started to lay about 3-4 weeks ago laid maybe 1 times then stopped? Her comb was red and now its not? Is this a weather thing or is there something wrong. Also another hen lays but is having trouble growing fluff back on her bum? she has all her other feathers but is almost bald under her vent and back of legs there have been tiny feathers there for 8 weeks but they don't look like growing?

Well they get cunderdin super poultry mix kitchen scraps (careful list of what and not to give) sprouted grain twice a week shell grit short grass clippings (maybe 3-4mm) thats about it? She looks healthy im just about to go and check her feathers and for mites. They were wormed 4weeks ago.

they sound like they are on an excellent diet, i find my birds do very well onthe super poultry mix. it could just be the time of year, some birds are very slow to moult and recover from their moult. yeah as a precaution use poultry dust for mites and lice, it probably isn't the cause but won't hurt them
