MOH took a flight to NSW to meet up with one of our daughters and her 6 children, yep 6 of them. I think every time she sits on a seat she gets pregnant, anyway lucky me I have 6 grand kids three of each. I have not caught up with them for 4 years now because of one thing and another not my fault. The middle girl spat the dummy because she had not caught up with her grand dad for ages so the flight was organised and over she came with MOH. She is now 13 years old and shot upwards from the last time I had seen her, what a great reunion. ;D ;D ;D Now she loves this place so much she dose not want to leave. I have to get her to the airport on Wednesday by 10 AM. I think she will be kicking and screaming all the way, its the best time for a young one to visit, with the lambs, calves, chicks, bottle feeding making cheese, yogurt , bread, pasta and lemon butter and the like. we have had a great time together, now I have to make room for all the others one at a time they all want to get in on it ,this is when you thought you were fit "oH" the truth hurts ;D ;D ;D Trev

Sounds like you're a wonderful grandfather to me! They are few and far between so I hope your grandies cherish every moment. My granddad passed away 7 years ago next week and I miss him everyday, not just for me but for my kids as well. He was the most amazing man, very unassuming but huge heart. My kids could have learnt heaps from him. My Nan's been gone for 3 years and I miss her heaps too. My grandparents shaped a lot about who I am so it's a formidable task but they revelled it. And I'm so grateful to have had them in my life. So Quambie I wish you a wonderful time with your granddaughter and hope you make some fantastic memories together. And hug her lots, spoil her rotten - grandparents revenge!

HI Belle Thanks for that. I must admit I have enjoyed the ride although. I do get a tad tired by the end of the day, at 13 she is full on but has a great sense of humour, sorry to hear about your grandee and your Nan . I do wonder what kids do if they do not have them it has to be hard on them , my lot and I am verry lucky twice I have defied death now once while I was in Hospital for 6 months and got septicaemia and last year with a few heart attacks so I am way up there on the lucky side one thing if I can help it the next visit will not be so far apart if I have a say in it. HELP ~~~~~~~~~ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Trev

Thanks guys I have had the email Warning they are all lined up and ready to fly I came from a large family of 9 so she may be trying to beat that score. I hope they can feed the lot of them its not like on the farm where most of the stuff you grow and raise yourself, retail cost a fortune . I did send over a dozen eggs for them as my grand child kept on about how colourful the yokes were, so I drew smiley faces on the eggs, and put the name of the breed on the side of the eggs for them, just a bit of humour for them pore old city folk ;D ;D ;D Trev
