one of my belguim duccles has a extra long beak and its slightly twisted...what should i use to grind it down and if it bleeds will she die of shok? im thinking its because there waz no stone in the yard i bought her from to naturaly grind it down...i see my other chooks grinding there own beaks down on the bricks i leave in yard for them....they all keep there own beaks nice and short and rounded off...but this little girle doesnt do it....is this because her beak is so long she can no longer grind it herself comfotably or something??? when i put her to bed tonight...because she refuses to stay in pen and sleeps on washing line...she felt very light witch means shes now having troubble picking up her pellets

I wouldn't use the clippers... But filing down with a nail file is a good idea
