My OH has got to the stage when anytime I try and talk chook to him he turns off until I mention anything about a different breed and then he starts on his chant " I am NOT building chook yards every weekend for the rest of my life" but then I smile sweetly and remind him that he is only 8 yards behind, and say fluffychooks saying "a happy wife means a happy life" but i havent mentioned anything about the Buff Sussex that are due to hatch tomorrow, and if they hatch he will be 9 yards behind.

haha H7 that's funny, i've learnt to just build the yards myself! He keeps telling me they're ugly and doesnt want them at the front of the house but I keep saying well build them for me and you can put them wherever you like!

Hi Beck, it is great to have an understanding ear. My hubby tolerates my hobby and thinks I am over the top. But he does like my silkies and says he likes the different colours.
