Hi everybody, Was just wondering if Muscovy's and Call ducks can be kept together in the same pen? I have a 2 year old Muscovy Drake and a breeding pair of Call Ducks, I also have a 4 month old female Muscovy but the Drake is a little too rough for her at the moment, I was thinking of putting her in with the Call Ducks and letting the Drake free range as ultimately I want the Muscovy's to all be free range. So can they live together or not???

I had Muscovy girls in with my Khaki Campbell's and they beat the living daylights of the KC drake's! But it could just be my very bossy girls. Muscovy drake's will mate with anything that moves (or stops long enough) but I guess it might be a case of try it and see?! I've had drake's who were beaten up by Pekin hens (1/3 their size) so it all depends on the animal. Good luck!

i have seen a friend's pen where they have geese, muscovies and call ducks all roaming together. mind you its quite a decent sized yard, and has plenty of bushes down one side and in a corner of the yard, and they seem to manage quite fine. i suppose it all comes down to how much space you intend to keep them in.
