Hi John, welcome. Aren't silkies just the most gorgeous chooks there are, besides wyndotte, sussex, RIR, Plymoth, etc etc...lol. Good luck with getting your hens. There is a lady, Sharon, in Gidgegannup (chooknet.com.au) she has silkies available at different times. I bought a white hen off her recently.

Sorry John, nearly forgot about this one, Wyandotte and Pekin Bantam clubs are having a show on Sun 24th at Gidgeganup, and the Pekin club are also having an auction on the same day, if you fancy a drive you might be lucky.

So do they have other poultry up for auction as well as Pekin?

Scrap the suggestion of the wyandotte and pekin show auction for silkies, just phoned them to check and it is only going to be wyandottes and pekins in the auction
