;D I went looking for Red Anconas after seeing jacquies and got some Campines ;D. Iv been trying to find some for ages and ages . even tried hatching eastern states eggs in summer ,not much sucess Iv decided I have to stop collecting new breeds now so i didn't get the Anconas.They are lovley . Thanks 8-silver and gold Roos) Iv got a bit of breeding to do to get the colour perfect but not a bad start Silver Roo and gold hens

;)Jacquie ,I got them from a man .There were 2 lots of red anconas advertised I rang him as I couldn't get hold of the other number ,both had campines as well I believe . I'm very pleased with them ...Flighty birds ,but beautiful.

oh ok. i see. the one i got mine from had a most amazing to die for set up lol. they are gorgeous birds, and i have seen someone raise them from chicks and they were not so flighty. however, as chicks they can have terrible feather picking problems as they aer such an active bird they get readily bored.
glad you got them, they are very handsome.

They have a new 6 ft tall cage got home and a rooster is sitting on top ;D and and the other one is in the next pen .Talk about active and flighty .I'm going to net the free-range area in to keep them out of others areas
