sorry guys, it's been a while, I was busy investigating the intended sabotage on our planing committee , still don't know who sent the cat Bonnie won't get off my back now about organizing professional singing lessons for the other two ladies. She reckons if her voice hadn't been so outstandingly well trained the cat would have eaten all three of them - Ronja and Lili needed to be able to fend for themselves, because she'd be touring the country very soon (she deferred the Europe concerts while the volcano was playing up) and thus can't guard them all the time. Here goes my next salary Anne, I actually quite liked the idea with the underground heating, much more comfortable for them. I found a manufacturer who uses really well insulated cables I'm not too concerned about Hippy, after all she seems to start earning her keep by laying giant colored eggs I'm sure you have heard about the phenomenon that dogs and their owners start to look very much alike after a while, I assume Hippy is just blending in with your family In a way I wish all chooks looked like her, MUCH easier to sex sorry about your rooster, too. I've come to the conclusion that you should start taking on any unwanted roo's from now on to counter those losses, and have taken the liberty to put an ad up for you on chooknet , I'm sure Ross won't mind building another pen or two ANYWAY, good news ;D the ABC has decided that our orchestra should be the one who accompanies the next contestants of the "Young Performers" competition in the final stage instead of WASO ;D ;D They've noticed a decline in applications and are convinced that the prospect of working with an ensemble like this under Mr.Verbitsky's direction would spark huge interest in the competition. ;D ;D Of course, all our birds are invited to apply as soloists as well, they'd presumably all fall under the age requirement of being under 32years old (if not I'm sure we'll make a lot of money out of them by selling their photos and story to the media )

Those cat's are out to get us all right I'm glad you got a close-up of that white chicken, that's the one I saw in MY garden, too (I was wondering why I suddenly had four chooks but I was blaming my blood pressure, affecting my vision ), and it's the only creature who could have opened my fridge and tempered with my salmon - have been sick for days!!! What has the world come to??!!! Thanks for the info about the cockroaches, much appreciated ;D how did you know I was running out of them? My local IGA has stopped stocking them, heaven knows, why It's probably the cat's fault, too, I've heard rumors they signed a petition, just to upset my poor little darling girls Trevor, mate, you have to be strong, we REALLY need you and your chicks, and they HAVE to be singers, I'm afraid I had a meeting with Mr. Verbitsky and he's thinking BIG, as in BIG I'm talking Mahler, Beethoven, all the favorites with huge orchestra and chorus, so for goodness sake, sing !! Remember, you live far enough away from everything and everybody, nobody would mind, or assume you're strange ;D ;D Anne, how could you possibly suggest someone else could be assigned to play the tambourine??!! Did you not notice the T-shirt Pipa was wearing to the audition? On the front you could read in big letters "Life is not worth living without Tambourine" and on the back she had printed a copy of her tambourine diploma from CNSMDP (which is short for "Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris", of course ), and "Le tambourin, c'est moi!!!!" So there is no way anyone but Pipa could do the job apart from that, her audition was breathtaking! The entire cast was moved to tears

;DI didn't get a picture of Pippa either but i did catch a glimpse of your Light Sussex,Pianockook ...Lilli ...It seems despite her elegant denial of a need to dress provocatively she has a hidden side ...This was taken in her dressing room .... ;D Lilli in her dressing room A small bird told me that you pianochook have been practicing Flight of the bumble bee .. . :oFluffy chook I hope you birds have been practicing. this act will soon be ready to go . I to had confirmation that The ABC is thinking of using our orchestra as the one who accompanies the next contestants of the "Young Performers" competition . 8-)I feel some more practice secessions are on order .A few local sporting teams may like to use us as a fundraiser ... ???Anyone any ideas. We need lots of practice and if we keep them busy it might keep them out of the night clubs Trev.. Pianochook is right we need all talent we can get..... Sing..Sing..Sing

;D ;D Trev, you will need a manager! I'm convinced you will be inundated with requests - all the chook owners with broody hens that need to be cured....what a niche! ;D Anne, what do you expect, Lili is MY girl, so of course there would be LOTS of hidden, dark sides, you don't wanna go there... I personally think she's pretty hot, don't you? ..as to the Bumble Bee, that's right, I have been practicing, the version for violin and piano, are any chooks out there who can play violin and feel up to a challenge? The bee is currently bumbling at 160 per crotchet, so I'm taking bookings ;D

Iv found your sheep Trevor ... ......She arrived at the latest Lingerie Party that was at my place last night...what do you think of her latest look ...she seemed to have vast amounts of cash ;D ;D she may have been selling something before she arrived? Tthe other girls were there Lilli,Bonnie and Ronja(credit card in hand) from pianochooks and Fluffy ,Beauty from Fluffychooks and some others I didn't recognise as well as the ???Ducks .. ... . Not sure who they belong to but they did look like Wendysducks..... and were exhausted on arrival at the party so they could have come up from Bunbury Trev ....There was a mixed response on the Chook raffle. Some thought ..horror of all horrors a ???cooking chook A few heart attacks on that one (had to bring out the rescue remedy for them) ... The other thought it could be a way of becoming a star if ........ " THEY WERE PRIZE" and would go to a GRAND HOME Other jealous birds suggested a sheep raffle... Trevs sheep in all her trappings

wow, Anne, those outfits are just spectacular!!! The sheep's AND my girl's new ones. But how come I never get invited??!! I know, I know, it would look a bit silly on me, those things are more designed for chooks and sheep.... I reckon we need to start getting little name tags with address and telephone number for our sweethearts, so we know where they are coming from My girls have been on the computer all day, checking out google maps to get directions to Toodyay, they saw Jacquie's roosters and are beside themselves Lucky they've got the new lingerie, that was great timing, because I think they're off to pay a visit tonight
