I've had a fox hanging around the last few nights, touchwood we have been lucky but it has gotten to my neighbours chooks, so naturally last night we nailed it, the neighbour managed to mow it down in his car after fleeing from his chook yard, didn't kill it unfortunately but a bullet soon fixed that problem!! I hate foxes

Glad you got one luv4ducks - that's the spirit! rumples - we're right near Byford too - thankfully I haven't seen any foxes lately - hope you get them all and sorry to hear about your poor chooks Oh and tona - what an awful thing to happen Hope the fox stays away from your poor chooks or you get the bugger - you do get very attatched to them and it's horrible when you lose one

Yes I will be staying up all night to stake out that bugger. No way is he gonna get more of my babies... Last year I lost 4 in one night and two were really special ones. I think they are all special, but these were really different colored silkies and 1 was a beautiful big rooster who used to sit on my feet as soon as I stepped into the coop. Poor little boy...
