Yeh I bet you are I think I'm gunna have to put my name down on what I'm sure will be a very long list for some of their offspring! My buff pullet from Shrimani has matured quite nicely but she's a little paler than your gals and doesnt have such lovely crest as yours. I've also bred a couple of cockerels that are now about 6 months old, they've got quite a lot of black in the tails and some slight black streaking in the hackles but not bad considering that they're the first buffs that my birds have ever thrown lol. They're quite a rich buff so I'm gunna keep one of them to put over that buff pullet.

No worries Steph, I will let you know when I have some. I have borrowed my sisters buff hen and bearded (yes bearded) buff cockeral that has just started to crow, if you call it a crow...lol. I am hoping that he will be active before I return him at the end of September. I am sure you will be interested in any bearded ones I get. I will let you know one way or the other what I get. The hen is fluffing around making a nest today (and taking forever too) so it will look like I will definately have some eggs to go in the bator the next batch I set.

Ok thanks for posting those piccies. I just wondered what sort of quality their buffs were. Hopefully with the next lot I will get a nicer array of colours. Last batch was all dark blue and black. Btw, Wryn is doing well. Still in the lanky stage but is filling out nicely. Will try to get some update piccies for you

Thanks for that, I was only wondering a couple of days ago about Wryn as I had a chick that was stressed and look like it was getting wry neck. I immediately put it on Soluvet and it was fine. My last lot I got this little one, light blue, very light almost white blue, dark blue and white.

By the way that little chick hatched a real chocolate colour, so I was totally unprepared for it to turn out this colour. I sent a picture to Gerri and she said she had never had any hatch that colour before. I sent her an updated picture today.

Remember how she told one of us that there's no bearded in her lines. Well there is, coz one of the chicks from my last batch is bearded (dark blue) Your buff boy is tempting Heath, but as I mentioned to Tina above, I've bred a couple myself and have decided to keep one. You might be able to sway me if your fella has middle toe feathering?

She told me that originally, but I asked her with my last lot and she said yes there is now. So she must be using different stock this time. I have a light blue bearded. Sorry Heath, I have borrowed my sisters for a bit as I am unable to keep any more. He is lovely. I am wondering if Brendon may need one as he has lost a lot of his flock. Why not send him a message. His user name is luv4ducks

I will check for the middle toe feathering, I did get some with it in his hatch. I had given him to my father for a while but he visited today (from up north) and returned him along with 2 more meaning I now have 6 roosters which is 4 too many. I'm keeping 2 pekin lads but have decided to give away the 3 silky boys and one of me pekin lads.
