I think some of the abbreviations in show schedules can be confusing to new comers to the poultry fancy.
Here are some off the top of my head...
CKL = cockerel PLT = pullet AOC = Any other Colour AV = Any variety AC = Any Colour AOV - Any Other Variety
Any other Colour: usually means any other colour besides those listed in the schedule.
Any Colour: Is usually a class for a breed regardless of colour.
Cockerels & Pullets are young birds usually six to twelve months old.
Any Other Variety and Any Variety: An explanation of Variety is a sub division of a breed, distinguished by colour, colour and pattern, type of comb, beard, muff, tassel or hen feathering.
So Any other Variety = usually means any other variety besides those listed in the schedule.
Any Variety = Is usually a class for a breed regardless of variety.
I hope this helps, and if you come across any abbreviation you dont understand just send a message to me and I will get back with an answer.
