Hello can anybody tell me should I have 2 Muscovy ducks= 1 male & 1 female or is it OK to only have the 1 female by herself - we have a pair of khaki Campbell ducks = male & female but was wondering will Daisey the Muscovy req a male friend too...any help much appreciated.

Hi Betty, I'm glad that you were able to give daisy a home:) She will be fine on her own, she won't fret for a male, and she will incubate and raise your campbells as if they are her own:) The only thing you have to watch out for is that the vampbell drake doesn't mate with daisy, as muscovies are member of the goose family, if she is mated with him she will hatch out ducklings, but they will all be sterile
