I got a dozen eggs from her last year and wasnt that impressed. Didnt travel well, most of them had heaps of air bubbles, a few were infertile and only one made it full term then died in shell soon after it started pipping. So you had better luck than me with those eggs

This is why I say packaging has everything to do with the success of a hatch. Even though none were broken, so many air bubbles in them that they really had no chance at all. And as you can see not cheap either.

I purchased some eggs from perfect poultry late last year & had 7 out of 11 eggs hatch so they are not always bad. They arrived in pretty good shape, only one was broken. I have noticed Aus Post are being exta rough with parcels at the moment. The boxes have been pretty much squashed in all the parcels I have received.

So it is possible to have success with eggs from the Eastern states??
I thought air travel would ruin eggs. Might have to give it a go...

I am pretty sure it is black, I am not concerned either way because if it is a hen I will keep it and if it is a rooster my sister will get him. Not going to part with a chick this expensive especially with those feet.
