Hello everyone. my uncle passed away and left me four lovely girl chickens and a boy one but I don't no what to do with them now my cousins' bringed them in a cardboard box. I don't want let them get on my white carpet. Should I put newspaper and will they stay on there? I never had chickens before and I never live were there was some.

Hi Chookadoodle. I think we'd better find out where you live and who of our members lives near you. I think someone may need to come round and help you physically rather than try to give advice here. If you don't have adequate facilities for them perhaps one of us can take them somewhere until you can make a proper home for them.

Hi Chookadoodle, We would definately like to help....You would not really be able to keep chickens in the house or on newspaper they would need to be outside. Please send us some more info. Do you have a backyard? As Mike said if you can let us know where you live maybe one of us slose by can come over and help out. ?

Mike, you are forever the practical joker, have locked the thread so no more unsuspecting members reply to poor chookadoodles plight, but thank you to all the members who were willing to help, physically and with advice, it is great to know that if a hand is really needed their are people who are willing to offer.
