Has anyone read 'ABCs of Poultry Genetics' by Dr. W F Hollander? I've just stumbled across this book online and wondered whether its any good? I find genetics quite confusing at times so I thought this book might explain it in laymans terms maybe.....
Or how about 'The Mating & Breeding of Poultry by Harry M Lamon and Rob R Slocum?

Sorry not heard of it. I usually go to our local library and get some good books out. Will check out their titles and post on here.

Haven't heard of either but would like to know about a couple of others if anyone knows. They are ABC of Poultry Raising - A complete guide for a beginner or expert By J. H. Florea and KEEPING PET CHICKENS By JOHANNES PAUL and WILLIAM WINDHAM Both books are available online and i'd like to know a little about them if anyone could help! It's very hard to buy a book if you don't know anything about said book and as farmchooks said, i'll go to my local library and see if i can check them out.
