Does anyone have the Albany poultry auction dates for the coming year. I tried to become a member of the association and to get their newsletter but there seems to be a problem in communication. The last time I spoke to the secretary I was told the dates would be set at the agm and they would send them to me but that was a couple of months ago and I haven't heard any more.

Yeah I'd really like to know too. Nelly? You're in Albany - any idea?
Don't want to miss the first auction of 2009!

I'll check the date first but if the Albany auction iss Feb 21st I'll be there. Planning to sell some young glws and xbreeds and buy some frizzle hens if there are any there. I have one particular young cockerel with striking colouring I think will sell. His father was Fritz the frizzle and his mother a white silkie/leghorn cross and he has fritz's dramatic black, orange and red colouring and his mother's dark face and rose comb. It will be my first go and selling at an auction and I'm very much looking forward to it.
