Sadly no rain here, but it has been threatening, god know's we need some, It was that humid yesterday that I put the sprinkler on the hen's, gee they are funny, they were running to get under the water, then running out & shaking them selve's off, at this very moment we are getting lot's of thunder & the sky is blackening, hope fully we might get a drop of rain this afternoon........ ;D

Nah, never got the rain we dearly needed .I dont think the weather will dampen your night out too much Trev . I recall watching the Rolling Stone's at Wembley Stadium in the 60's in a snow storm, & it did'nt dampen my spirit's, we dearly need a little rain here, the ground is so hard & dry the chook's dont mind though, there's plenty of cricket's around for "Tucker".

We copped 52mm here at the end of school and 74mm at the old place, we've had hail (goodbye canola), thunder and lightning for the past week every night and have to say, I am over it! These once in 50 year rain events are disasterous, floodways are gone and road is only accessible by mountain goats. And we are not on the Shire's list of wonderful people so god-knows how long it will be before they even come to look at it. It took 12 years for them to re-gravel our old road, so not exactly putting the Super into Supertown?! And looking at the weather today we are in for 3 days of around 44 - 47' degrees. I am definately NOT a summer person. But have seen a few locusts around so poultry are happy flapping around after them, hopefully we won't suffer the plague again for awhile. Fingers crossed. Bring on Autumn, when I am happiest! Oh to wear jumper and jeans again!

I totally agree with you Belle, it's very uncomfortable trying to work in this heat, we are currently sinking Kopper's log's around an acre of our property to house our milking goat's & sadly we can only work during the evening's when it's more hospitable, it seem's to be taking forever, as you said; "C'mon Autumn".
