Hi everyone i was wandering how long you can keep fertilized eggs for and what's the best way to store them thanks

Hi Beck, I usually try to get my eggs in the incubator within 7 to 10 days, and I store them at room temp in a egg cartons in a large cardboard box which is tilted at 45 degrees and I rotate the box morning and night, this is to stop the air pocket from sticking. (dont know if that is the right terminology) hope that was of some help

I heard it was two weeks tops. Basically the fresher they are, the better chance they have.
(Good idea H7 about the cardboard box! easier than tilting 5 cartons of eggs twice a day!)

Thanks so much i did'nt know about the turning got a lot to learn i guess i usually leave them with my chicky but she is getting very tardy and not looking after her mob
