Sorry to hear that Trevor Have you candled the eggs to see if they have developed did the guy you got them from say how old they were maybe the eggs were too old...were the other eggs that you had the same problem with come from the same place did the guy also incubate some with better luck or did he also have problems In this case the issue may be with his roosters If he had success witht he same batch of eggs then there is something wrong with your incubator have you checked the thermometor maybe the incubator is getting too hot or maybe issues with the hunidity also have you given the incubator a good clean out and sterilisation

HI Lakelands the guy I got the eggs from put a load in one week before and one week after the lot I had and one lot hatched the other lot should be ready any day now I do clean and sterilise the bator each time before eggs go into it as soon as there out I clean and get it ready for the next lot the only thing I can think of is that we did have a power surge it took the bator up to 39 degrees for a short time I would have thought that would not make a lot of difference to the eggs it was only two 6 weeks ago I had the meat chicks hatch out most of that lot came into the world ok I will let them sit until tomorrow night and that will be two days after they should have hatched out its frustrating to say the least I have to start all over again and the girls have slowed up on the laying side with the burst of heat back to the drawing board Trev
