How did breeding pens set up end up talking about nasty accidents? Thought I'd ad mine in. My Dad, bless him, he is the handy one, made me some shelving for my tack room. Dad makes things to last and of steel so it was bloody heavy and difficult to move. He had his sandles on and we gave the shelving a push. His lovely little plates at the bottom hit his big toe nail and pushed it up at 90 deg to his toe. YUCK! True to form, he sat down for a bit, put a bandaid on it and kept on going ... (I felt queasy). He then had something else to do so he washed it in the ocean, strapped it down, did the 2nd job, then went to the hospital.
My personal story is I got my arm stuck in a potatoe harvester. I've still got my arm but it got a bit squashed. I don't recommend doing it, it bloody hurt!
