Hi Lakelands we do two the second one is on today and over the weekend finish on Sunday Morning with a BBQ for all shooters. It will be interesting to see how many they get this time around I have had a trap set for the last two nights without anything in it Give it time I know there will be one that cant resist what is in side it it would be hard to get any other days on the go now getting ready for this years crop planting so life goes on but we will go out again you find that Foxes will trot alonside a tractor while your working without fear Trev

HI Beck Its hard at night with a spot lamp all they have to do is to turn there head, look another way and you have lost them. The only thing that you need to see is there eyes, they sparkle like Diamonds if it were not for that you would not get many at all by shooting. I would hate to think what we loose in the way of Native birds and the like Trev

Hi Trev, I guess the picture in the West on monday was your Fox shoot? I have just ordered a copy of the picture & am going to frame it & hang it in my office. I told a friend & she thought I was nuts. I cant understand why! The night of the storm I lost 12 Bramahs to our local foxes. The only thing better tahn a dead fox is a big pile of ded foxes. Good on you. Nicole

HI All The shoot was around Doodlakine North and south over two nights same as the last time I have no idea if it were our foxes that hit the press but good on them if anyone had a go as well as us sorry for your loss Turkeyman I keep a trap out at all times just to tempt them or even one I think thy know who is going to get them or not and avoid the place so if they wont come to you !! The wind was up that made it hard to shoot with the big stuff so it was a drive and see who was the fastest then out came the shotguns on the move I had foxes going 70 to 80 kms per hour and turn on the spot great fun and the only way to get shot of a few of them we will have another go in a month or so most of the guys around Doodlakine go all year then we have the big shoot so I was surprised to get as many as we did so they must breed fast Trev

Ah Quambie! My favourite sport 115 great number. We have the hunt once a year out here in Kondi, top weekend, great fun. But same here as you said most (and I will omit 'guys' here ) go all year round. I bet I know one night a year in Doodie though that absolutely no-one would be out shooting?
