Thanks guys, I think he's gorgeous! Cant wait for them all to mature and see what the chickens come out like. The girls have all got a bit of dark coming through on their legs, but his legs are quite nice, not dark yellow but still a better colour than the girls. The girls arent too bad in their colour and I think 2 of them arent as nicely shaped as the other one. But we'll see what they produce.

He is so handsome! I have one partridge wyandotte hen (she's 7 months old - does that make her a hen?) so it's good to see the roo. How old is he?How will you get him to let you hold him? My George was letting me cuddle him one minute and the next trying to peck my legs- I haven't been game to try and pick him up since!

Hi newchook, yours is about the same age as mine. I dont know exactly how old the girls are but I'd say they would be about 7 months.POL I cant remember how old Pierre is. The lady I bought him from told me but its gone from my putty brain!! They are pullets until a year old. Man its going to be funny watching Pierre strut his stuff when he's with the girls! Cant wait.
