one ended up dying, but the other two are walking around normally now. i just made "hobbles" out of bandaids, and that supported them. the one that died seemed to have something else wrong as well. sadly another one somehow managed to drown itself in a minuscle amount of water last night..............they are such sillly things sometimes. but teh rest are going strong. and yes steph, there are some black ones with good toe feathers as well, although murhpy's law says that the best one has spraddled legs......fortunatlely well on the way to be mended. i hope they stay pure black.

They are just lovely, I must admit before I read the caption I thought you had pictures of frogs. Sorry to hear some didn't make it, and I am always surprised at how they can drown in such a small amount of water.
