Was wondering if anyone has any shasta daisy plants or knows of anyone who does? While I was doing my horiculture course i studied this plant and one of my classmates gave me some but i no longer have them. This plant is a perennial and the flowers are huge (their diameter can be around the 20cm mark). They look exactly like daisy flowers just bigger. You propagate them in late winter so if any one knows someone with them it would be absoloutely lovely

Hi Mandimoo, I have just planted a plant that my aunty gave me. I can give you some but probably not until spring as its just gone a bit dormant at the moment and its still fairly small. If anyone else can help before then, go for it I did see some punnets of them at the nursery a few weeks ago too they are a special perennial punnets line. Wendy

This maybe a silly question as we live so far away from each other but what nursery did you see them in? I must go to all the ones that do not have them!!

It was either at Bunninngs or Mitre 10(all the small private nurseries have gone broke...I wonder why) , so if they dont have them in the seedlings section, I would ask them to order them in. I will have a look tomorrow and see which company supply them and get back to you. Oh no, another trip to the nursery. i just spent $70 at Bunnings today lol. Id better leave the purse at home I think. Nah, you never know what theyll have. Didnt go to Mitre 10 this week so I'll go there first. If you have no joy, I'll buy a punnet and send you half of the seedlings. I dont need that many.

Hi Mandi, I went to mitre 10 and bought a punnet. They are Sunnyvale seedlings so wherever sells Sunnyvale should stock them or be able to get them. I am very happy to send you some of the plants as I wont need all of them. So if you have no joy, let me know. Cheers, Wendy.
