This is one of the pink legged buff chicks, I have noticed today they are looking more yellow, so hopefully it will darken up An overhead shot One of the chicks with lighter coloured bits (dirty blue?)

I have been told either light blue or splash, here is hoping for splash as my last one turned light blue as did Steph's.

The leg/comb colouring on that buff is exactly the same as that of about half the chicks from my last setting. Their legs have darkened to a light/mid grey and the combs are a pale grey and look to turning a mulberry rather than black. So hopefully yours will darken too. You've got a lovely mix of colours in this batch I'd say the dirty blue will lose those light patches when it feathers up. I get lil pekins hatching black with white chests and cheeks and they feather up clean black or gold birchen.

Thanks Steph, that is so good to know. It means there is hope for the blues to turn out fine. I have noticed the legs and beak already changing colour on the buff. I hope the light skin changes too.
