Tane' is having his MCU test for urinary reflex tomorrow. I'm not really looking forward to it At least being so young he doesnt realise its coming, and when older wont remember having it I guess.

We will be thinking of you tomorrow. My daughter had a test done when she was around six that was very intimate, she remembers it vividly so thankfully he is young enough not to remember.

Thanks guys My OH was able to move his monthly day off to tomorrow so that he can be there for the bub. Yes, I guess its a good thing that the test is being done now at 10.5 months instead of in a few years when he would probably remember having it done. My OH cringes just thinking about the procedure lol. He said last night, 'there's no way I'm looking while they do it' lol. Men... such wimps lol

Thanks guys Well, Tane' was very brave and the test looked pretty good. The paediatrician that did the test said it looked good but the images on the screen arent perfectly clear so we have to wait until we see the other paediatrician on monday to be sure.

We had our appointment with the paediatrician today and the results were negative for urinary reflux However, its not over yet.... they found that he had ballooning of the f---skin, which mean a little bit of pee get trapped in there. They think that might be where the infection begins. So now we have to go and see a "willy" specialist at PMH so that he can investigate whether Tane` should be circumcised to prevent future infections.

rofl...willy specialist, oh I love it. Great to hear that it is not reflux and that it may mean that a small op can fix his problem. It will be interesting to hear what the willy specialist has to say. I wonder if they have ever been called that before.

Hehe Well I didnt want to be too explicit incase there's kids reading this. The paed will write a referral letter to the willy specialist, so now I just wait until they call me to make an appointment sometime in the next 3 months.
