I've been looking for quite a while now and today we finally got some Sebs ;D We had to drive 2 hours to get them, down in Mandurah but it was worth it. I bought six, unsure of sexes as yet. I dont know whether they're 100% sebastopol because of their colouring so I might post some pics on BYP sometime and see what ToH and BB think. I'll take some piccies when they've settled in a bit

Would be perfect for you if they are. At least with six you have got a good chance of having both sexes. Definately want to see the pictures

Yes, thats what we thought. Would be very unlucky to pick 6 ganders but then again if anyone was going to do that it would be me ..... So far we know that one is definately a gander. 2 are white, 2 are white with small brown patches, 1 is white and pale brown mixed and the other 1 is grey. Will try to get some pics tomorrow.

Here's a piccie for you guys, not the best I know but they're still getting used to me so wont come too close yet. As you can see the one in the middle has hardly any frizzling so I'd say its a X breed. The others have varying degrees of 'frizzleness'.

They are gorgeous, I love the frizzle and I am not a goose person. So interesting to look at.

They're amazingly docile. I've had a Emden gander before and he was an absolute b*****d so I didnt want a repeat of that experience. But these guys are so quiet, I had them in with the mussies and the mussies were picking on them lol so I had to remove them. The Sebs are in the 'laying hen' pen and they are so polite to the chooks. Yesterday I was watching my 8ish week old Light Sussex having a dustbathe right in the middle of the group of Sebs and they just stood there watching it, I was expecting them to go and tell it to nick off but they didnt care.
