Its official and I am SO EXCITED! My life long dream is about to come true - our offer was accepted and we we will be moving to our farm as soon as our place in the hills sells ;D ;D ;D ;D.
Its just outside of Boyup Brook, over 30 acres, with a big dam and an existing large chicken coop. Ducks, geese and a peacock or two are now on my wish list. And a couple of horses, some sheep, a couple more dogs, and maybe a goat:)
Now I just have to get through the trial of home inspections with three kids, three dogs and a husband who find it impossible to keep the place tidy!
So, anyone else live in the area?

Sounds awesome. 30 acres.....no problem with the neighbours complaining about the roosters. I am so fortunate, my OH hates mess, so he cleans up all the time. Can be annoying too when he picks on me for making a mess. I tell him to go away, this is the way I was when you married me. I can function with the shopping all on the bench and make myself a cup of coffee and then clean up. He can't he has to clean up first. lol...I would not change him for anything

Thanks everyone:) I am so excited I can't wait, but the reality of finishing our place and waiting for it to sell is hard, I just want to move right now. This is part of the view from the front verandah ;D

Congrats Michelle, you'll love it down there. We moved from Boyup to North Dandalup, just to be closer to my elderly mum who needs us. But I loved the weather...nice mild summers and beautiful cold winters where you can rug up and sit by a cosy roaring fire. The animals will love it too...sounds like you will have a real menagerie, good onya, great town, a few clicky people, but mostly really friendly and it is the home of good old country music. ...Merrilyn

How awesome is that?! That is what I would like to see when I buy my property. I want to be looking around Donnybrook and surrounds for a place - won't be till a few years yet though.

Thanks everyone:) Sorry I havn't been back but I have been frantically getting our place ready and signed up with the agent to put it on the market. Not the best time to be selling with christmas just round the corner, but hopefully we will get a quick sale so we can move ASAP and I can start adding to my menagerie;)

Some people will find Christmas a good time to move especially if they are changing suburbs and have kids in school , so it might work in your favour. will keep my fingers crossed for you.
