These are my new muscovy gals Maxine & Marjorie, theyre about 7 months old. I bought them to use as broodies to incubate my other duck eggs for me. Also plan to get them a nice black and white drake at some point so they can have some bubs of their own as well

They are lovely!!
They could be carbon copies of my Abby and Gabby !!
Did you have much trouble finding/getting them?? I found when I was looking 6 months ago there was almost NO Mussies anywhere!! I might be after a couple more soon...

No we didnt have any trouble finding them, my OH spotted them in the quokka on thursday. Theyre from a lady in Mundaring, she's still got about 4 gals left I think and she had a mumma mussie with lil ducklings so she'll probably have more for sale soon too. These gals were $10 each

I've never been a fan of muscovies either fluffychook but I think these gals are quite elegant looking in muscovy terms lol. I guess whenever I've thought of muscovies I always pictured these warty gnarly faced big birds and they didnt really appeal to me but now I've got a new found appreciation for them
