Thanks:) Animal paintings and photography are my other addictions, so I am lucky to have a really nice dslr to take piccies.
Oh I'm a bit addicted to border collies as well, you can see my girl is quite fascinated by the two legged, feathered sheep we have provided her with!

lol h7, you don't know your country music. She is a famous country singer. Love the tractor and your girls, I mentioned it to hubby about the many zip straps, who being the ever pessimistic person said the sun will deteriorate them. Well he is pretty sure it will....lol

Effi is beautiful (and I think she knows it as well). She laid two eggs last night - sometime between sunset and 10pm. One was very soft shelled and the other normal...I guess it was a backlog from the day before when I bought her home.
Fluffychook, your hubby may be right about the sun damaging the zip ties, although we have other ones that have been outside year round for several seasons without deteriorating, so I'm not too worried about them...nails would have split the wood which would definitely deteriorated in the sun, and foxes have a habit of working out U nails:(
We are considering moving down south in the not so distant future, and given the cost of the materials, we wanted this to be portable, so we can break it down and cart it easily.
Course when we do move to the country, this will only be one of many chook pens!
