This is one of the silkies my sister hatched from eggs over east. When it was hatched we told her what it looked like and she said it is probably Lavender. I think it is a boy (purely from observation of behaviour and size) he is not white, but just off, maybe lavender His colour compared to a white chick The white chick on the left is the chick I hatched that had a sooty colour to the yellow. Turning out to be white and most likely a boy too

Hi, the colour is very similar to what my blue Austalorps are as day olds, sometimes they turn into splash, but sorry dont know whether the colour would still be called the same in silkie land

I put the pics on BYP and some say grey, some say splash. But caladenia said it does not meet the standard for splash as too much black. But it is only young and it may change its colours a bit on first molt

I think its grey. It is kinda similar to one of my lil cockerels that in my little world I like to call splash lol but is probably also technically a grey
