Hi Wendy, Wow, I thought I would be waiting a long while for a response. Thanks for the info. Coincidently I found Liz's details on the net last night and sent an email about ducks but thought she only had Pekins. She emailed back saying she had lots of ducks so I will ring her tonight. May I ask what you have in regards to poultry? Thanks Fancy

Hi Fancy, I havent got anything at the moment!! I was going to get the Ducks from Liz, but decided I would spend the same amount of money travelling to perth and buying many unsexed shick and duckling as I would on an incubator. Saying that, I have ordered my new incubator and a dozen Pekin duck eggs to go with it. I get them next week from Ray in perth who has advertised on this forum. A really lovely bloke, by the way. I am also hopefully getting some Pekin Bantam and Bantam Silver Spangled Hamburg eggs from a supplier in the eastern states. I have to sort it tomorrow. I am so excited (so are the kids!)and will let everyone know the progress. Cant wait for the chicks and ducklings to hatch, it will hopefully happen by my birthday on 25th Nov. What a great birthday pressie that would be!! Well, better stop waffling now I suppose Cheers, Wendy

Hi Fancy, I am getting the Pekins because the guy i bought the incubator off had fertile eggs of Pekins. I will still get runners though when find someone with some eggs spare. Im not getting the bantams from the lady I spoke of now as she says the hamburgs dont hatch well in an incubator. But thats ok, I will have my hands full with the ducklings for a while i think! Wendy
