I'm new, I live in Queensland. I have had chickens for years. I mainly have had New Hampshires for my own enjoyment. I don't show poultry. I used to show dogs and cats for a long time and that was enough. I have a few Gold Spangled Wyandottes and pligrim geese. We are retired on a lucerne and beef cattle farm near Goomeri, Queensland. I am looking for new lines of New Hampshires as we suffered a fox attack around Christmas time. Which left me with only 2 roosters. So can someone let me know what is available in the west? I am a bit concerned that New Hampshire poultry is now endangered in Australia, so I think breeders really should make an effort to bring this beautiful dual purp[ose breed back from the brink.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your visit from Mr Fox. They do a lot of damage.

I do have some here not sure how good they are , nice layers tho. not very popular here as they look to much like the comercial layers to the novices.
