Bet that was a surprise. Are they bantams? I read that they can incubate for only 18 days. Another thing could be that your temp is a bit high which gives an early hatch. As for the babies, I wait until they are dry and then move them to the brooder which I have prewarmed. I have only had two hatchings and they hatched during the day and into the evening. The next morning I then moved them all to the brooder. Remember to post some pictures so we can all see them.

Chicks are quite OK to stay in the hatcher for 24 hours, I usually take all the dry chicks out 24 hours after the 1st one has hatched and then again another 24 hours later. This way you limit opening the incubator, each time you open the open incubator a lot of humiidity is lost and can affect the chicks not hatched by drying out their shells too much. I then empty the incubator the day after that they were due to hatch even though there might be some that might still hatch, I know I am being a bit hard, but the very late hatchings are usually weak chicks that dont survive or if they do they carry the late hatching down into their offspring and you will eventually end up with chicks hatching over several days all the time. Hope that was of some help

That is fabulous H7 you should think about writing a book i got no sense out of the book i have just frustration and stress and also understand about not wanting to carry poor quality or often ill stock .....Also no squeak so far the chicks are good decent size too ( all 2 of them ) all chiping and running around in the brooder my husband made for me happy days
