well I am shocked I have had a chat with her about this and she is going to send me another two dozen as there were no blood rings in the eggs at all just yellow mush she will send them to me next Monday fast post fingers crossed after that distance i would only expect to get 6 out of that lot but you never know Trev

You may need to move your incubator to a cooler spot. It feels like summer is here already.

Gee that's terrible it could have been too hot in the mail always a risk when it gets above 26 Degrees . I have been around done trough run I had 20 mm of rain on my middle section water lying everywhere had another body struck lamb too.

thanks guys I have moved them into the house the shed was just to hot the last few days I am lucky in the lamb department lost one and one strike so far they all get under the sheering shed during the day away from the fly`s smart, one had the shits so it go struck and I think a dog got the other one to large for a fox to drag down I have not seen any dogs around from that time so who knows what happened and no rain yet Trev

she called me again today very upset about it all and she is posting a dozen out in the morning it makes a change when i got the dorkings and my first lot of PRocks none hatched and the same thing no blood rings and they came from down south she did not want to know she will get no more for m me wish I could stop her full time a second topic at 3 30 this arvo a wild cat wandered in the back yard, first one i have seen for a few months by the time I got the gun out it was on its way to the sheds out of sight. It has to go, the chooks did start up and i took no notice of them, silly me next time ??

Foxes, dogs and cats! What next??
It is not often that a breeder would replace eggs that didn't hatch. So you are very lucky to have found this one. May post her details as a recommendation to others wanting eggs?

I will find out what other stock she has first but a good idea chooky one other thing My mate next door 2 kms away has a cat last night this cat killed a fox and brought it home for them all to have a look at its a small fox but what a great cat it must be very territorial Trev

let me see he is 13 years old stays with me all day long if I leave him he wines all the time and when he is gone I will not have another one we then can go to places that we cant go with him now as we have just put this place on the market it will be a race to see who goes first him or me Trev

You have a very loyal friend there. My dog was 18 when he passed. Cancer took him in the end. He was happy and eager to please up to the last day, despite the pain and discomfort.
We don't have a dog at the moment. We'll get one later when the kids are older and more responsible.
