I got some , I am having a run of males to this year with about 130 chicks at least 75% males I have got only 2 marans pullets from 10 , 5 australorp pullets from 20 the others too hard to tell yet but if those ratio are similar I am going to need 2 more freezers.

That is a very high cockerel ratio CK. Hope there are some more pullets amongst your younger chicks.

ck I think yours came from the same place that mine did and i got the males as well only one hen with a crossed beak and one eye so i had to put her down I did try to clip the beak but it came back again larger than the first time I have a home for ome roo the others may end up in the freezer and I do not mind that Trev

Hi Trev, I know a breeder with New Hampshires. Very nice birds. She also breeds the palomino variety which is stunning. I can PM contact details if you want to get some fertile eggs?

I am going to try a new thing with the roos from the New Hampshires I will cross them first of all with a RIR and then bring them back they seem to be a little light in colour from the last one i had but they are young time will tell I have kept the number that you sent to me just in case it dose not work Trev

Sounds like a plan. If all else fails you have the breeder's contact details. Very nice large birds.
