As you know i have just lost all the duck eggs i had in the bator i started to look for something closer to home and found this cross Aylesbury duck crossed with a Apple yard drake lots of eggs fast growing big bird for the oven anyone heard of this cross or had a look at it Trev

are they the first cross or the parents that cross ? if both parents are pure to make the cross should be OK.

Hi ck yep both pure it will be a interesting exercise the best part is that the eggs do not have to fly anywhere Trev

I would go for it Trev , the concern I had the crossbreeds bred together would give a huge range but the first cross should be very good.

its not what i wanted but i can get them close to Perth I have to go to Perth on the 14th of this month so I will pick them up on my way back on the 17th about the same time as the Wellsummer eggs should get to me by post lucky I have two bators this could be a bit of fun by then i should have my trusty camera going again after 15 years i smashed it ?? trev
