I have a spare one up here ,he is still a bit young as far as Orpingtons go but you are more than welcome to him annie. Oh if you ever want some Australorp eggs from your line let me know too. I currently have the dominant white boy in with the girls.

Hi Anne, forgot to tell you he and his pen mates were dipped for lice twice in 10 days in August and just for insurance I powdered him with pestadene this morning I haven't seen any lice on any of mine since dipping them the first time so should be clear.

That's a good name for him , he does have good colour I hope he keeps filling out , they do take a lot longer to grow than some of the other breeds his father is rather large.

He suits his new name ,he looks like he will fill out more , The girls have been inspecting him all day .he is in a cage inside the main cage until he is settled. The others free range as well so I need him to know where home is . It will be nice to have some Australop chicks soon and later I will be able to have some more Orpington's . Oh dear it's becoming contagious again . I was talking about chook girls birds and having more australorps last night and I saw Ross do the not again look!

I see more chickens on the horizon Anne How can you deny yourself the big black eyes of an Australorp or the fluffiness of an Orpington. Impossible! I am sure that Ross secretly misses the chickens just as much as you Anne.

I can't believe it .last night mr fox found a door we never use but I left open by accident yesterday. The fox took all my girls . He didn't get my Brody's or my buff rooster as they were in separate cages. I'm so sad as I feel so responsible and was just getting excited about getting more birds again . I hope I hatch some chicks from the eggs .im going to have to start all over

That is so sad Anne. I can't believe the fox got in and took your girls. Fingers crossed you get some chicks to hatch. You are always welcome to some of our Australorp eggs if you would like some. Always sad when you lose birds especially when they are pets.
