I wonder how much they charge to inspect the imported food that will cause a few people economic harm ? Oh I found out the other day why we aren't allowed to feed animals meat products and scrapes its because of all the imported food posses a risk of creating a foot and mouth out break here ... why allow imports then ?

Foot and mouth is a SH^&%$t of a thing we do not need it in Australia Let the Poms and the continent keep it and yes it was started by not boiling the scraps long enough to feed to the pigs that started it all, I agree we should not allow imports at all we are so pedantic about about anything that we can get in west Aus I am surprised that we allow anything in at all and a great pity that this government cant get shot of the cane toad that seems to be OK and this was the answer that i got from this stupid lot I would suggest the $15 fee you paid was a cost added to your charge from the exporter to cover the cost of applying any required chemical treatments and issuing of any required certification for entry into WA. You may wish to speak to your supplier re: this charge. now i thought this was what it was all about why do you then want me to pay again you do not beleve the inspectors in the east Trev

I wonder how much gets snuck in anyway as there is a bypass road to get past the boarder quarantine stop . I have a friend over East that works at a strawberry farm he said he hates it when they get orders for WA as there is no soil or leaf matter allowed and if it does it gets distroyed

we will never know at the border crossing what they do with the stuff they take away from crossers I bet they dont pay for a lot what i can say is that i have got trees from the east because the plumb trees i wanted i could net get in WA then i lost them and had to replace them again but each time i have ordered trees from the east i have only paid the $ 15.00 thats is not bad considering that all the work is done in the east why should WA get another $ 56.00 for each 15 minute inspection thats $ 224.00 per hour for work that is already compleated not a bad job Threr worried about a few trees i know that you can buy seeds from Ebay and get them sent to yo in the post and they would never find that lot so what have we got in the west ?
