we they are at it again the Andalution eggs i ordered are stuck in Northam again this was sent over night post that means two to three days for us anyway got a note if you want them pay up and there in Northam collect them after 9am so a call was made they guy told me he would get them to me to the nearest post office "over night" HA that will be a first now it looks like Monday with luck you know what i will get charged just the same they never seem to get it we are in the bush watch the post code thats what its for get the thing close at least Trev
How hard is it to write a postal address ?? I haven't had that happen with eggs , but my sister once sent a parcel to us here When she moved over east and put on it mugga wogga station instead of farm it went to NSW and then up to wogga wogga station before getting here It had about six postal stamps on.
the trouble is this has the correct address on it the guy read it out to me along with the post code ?? because it was COD postage they wanted to keep it in Northam until i had paid they should have sent it to my local post office they would have taken the money but NO cant do that then on the phone the guy i talked to told me I was exaggerating when I told him that the eggs were over 100 kms away from me in fact there 140 away that makes it harder no one knows the distance between places half of the city people would not know anything past the hills suburbs but i thought that was what a post code was for you send it to that post office ?? one thing Do NOT GO COD that would help them after thought the last lot of trouble i had i paid up front for the postage so it has me beat Trev
this is my first time. The guy that posted the eggs, i do not think he had the funds for the post and the best way for that is to COD them causes loads of problems as i found out hope it has not done a laod of dammage to the eggs trev
well I should get the eggs tomorrow ? "HA" that will be a first what should have taken two days has now taken 6 days i do not know why we pay extra for a fast service if your in the city thats find but country no way is it fast hopefully i will have them in the bator by nightfall tomorrow Trev
sorry to here your egg have had a hard time getting to you /i do not like the postal service we get in the bush the closees the mail gets to me is villiage shop 3 times a week and if not open no mail at all . i had a postal box but they just filled it with rubish and real mail was lost . i think i have solved it bye getting a friend in town to collect mail fore me so i use his address this seams lot better /
well I have them at last i will leave them to stand for a while and them put them into the bator three weeks from now we will know I agree eggs are Tough it takes a long time for an egg to hot hot inside the shell and i would think the same for cold the bator is set on 37.6 with 60 % humidity and was stable for a week so they should be fine Trev
Hi Chooky the eggs look fine most of them are full fingers crossed i had three broody hens so i split up the eggs to give the birds a try all first time mums to be i have had to spend a week in Perth hate the place now back home again just love it I will keep you informed the eggs are just 13 days old now Trev
